Decodable Sentences
Practise decoding sentences with randomly selected ones.
Decodable Sentences can also be added as a single-use slide in your Slide Deck. Sound settings will automatically sync whether accessed through the Slide Deck or the app.
- From the Dashboard left-hand side menu click on Apps.
2. Search, filter by Literacy, or find the app tile in the list.
3. Click on the Close Menu to enter the full screen.
4. Click the "Start" button to begin generating random sentences.
5. You can choose between CVC and CVCC, CCVC & CCVCC, or include both in the random sentence selection.
6. If you select CVC or CVCC, CCVC, & CCVCC, or select both, you can then choose which vowel sounds to include, specific letters, or both.
7. You can also toggle on options to include Consonant Digraphs, Long Vowels, Diphthongs, R-controlled Vowels, Consonant Phonemes, and Short vowel phonemes. To explore more about these selections, just click the arrow beside each one to expand the details.
8. Click "Reset" to restore the default settings.
9. Click 'Connect to Timetable' to connect the app to your timetable entries.
10. Click the pin icon to add the app to your pinned apps on the dashboard.
