Decodable Words
Use the Decodable Words app to cycle through randomly selected words with your students. You can choose to only include relevant words for your class by filtering word types.
Decodable Words can also be added as a single-use slide in your Slide Deck. Sound settings will automatically sync whether accessed through the Slide Deck or the app.
1. From the Dashboard left-hand side menu click on Apps.
2. Search, filter by Literacy, or find the app tile in the list.
3. Click on the Close Menu to enter the full screen.
4. To set the words, click on the settings button on the upper left.
5. Expand a category to see sounds within it.
6. Click on All to include all sounds within that category.
7. Or, select individual sounds within categories.
8. Click on 'Start' to show a random word from your filters.
9. Click on Reset to remove filters from a category.
10. Click 'Connect to Timetable' to connect the app with your timetable entries.
11. Click the pin icon to add the app to your pinned apps on the dashboard.
