How do I pin columns in my Tracker?

Pinning keeps important columns visible on the left side of your tracker while you scroll horizontally through other columns.

Pinning a column

  1. Click the column header you want to pin
  2. Select Pin column from the menu

The column moves to the left side of the table and stays fixed when you scroll.


Unpinning a column

  1. Click the pinned column header
  2. Select Unpin column

The column returns to its original position in the regular column flow.



Pinning multiple columns

You can pin more than one column. Pinned columns appear in order from left to right, after the Student name column.

When to use pinning

Pinning is helpful when you have many columns and want to:

  • Always see a key reference column (like reading level)
  • Keep a "status" column visible while updating other data
  • Compare a baseline column against multiple assessment columns
