Rekenrek

Add and subtract with the Rekenrek to develop number sense and visualisation.

1. From the Dashboard left-hand side menu click on Apps.

2. Search, filter by Mathematics, or find the app tile in the list. Click on Rekenrek.

3. Click the 'Close Menu' button at the bottom left of the screen to enter full screen.

4. Click and drag the beads to move them from one side to the other.

5. You can choose to reveal or hide the numbers on the rows.

6. You can manually choose which row to reveal/hide by clicking the eye icon on each row.

7. Adjust the number of rows by clicking the - or + icons. You can set the number of rows between 1 and 10.

8. You can also change the colours of the left and right beads.

9. Click 'Hide' to close the settings and get a fuller view.

Note: Drag the beads all the way to the end for the number to appear.

10. Click 'Connect to Timetable' to connect the app to your timetable entries.

11. Click the pin icon to add the app to your pinned apps on the dashboard.
