Hundred Square

Click numbers to apply a colour to them. Double click to hide. Apply an auto hide pattern, or use the random number generator to challenge your class.


  1. From the Dashboard left-hand side menu click on Apps.

  1. Search, filter by Mathematics, or find the app tile in the list. Click on Hundred Square.

  1. Click the 'Close Menu' button at the bottom left of the screen to enter full screen.

  1. You can apply colour to the numbers by clicking on them.

  1. You have two options for displaying the numbers: ascending or descending.

  1. You can adjust the grid size and the number of displayed numbers, with a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 200.

  1. You can also set the number at which the sequence will start.

  1. You can hide numbers in various ways. Choose from these auto-hide options.

  1. Turn on the 'Number Prompt' to select a random number from the boxes, then have the students click on that number.

  1. To generate random numbers, click the 'Pick' button.

  1. You can set the minimum and maximum values for generating random numbers, with a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 100.

  1. You can also set the random numbers to be multiples of any number you choose.

  1. There are three prompt types to choose from: Add, Subtract, and Find.

  1. You can also choose the colour for highlighting or selecting numbers.

  1. Click 'Hide' to close the settings and get a fuller view.

  1. Click 'Connect to Timetable' to connect the app to your timetable entries.

  1. Click the pin icon to add the app to your pinned apps on the dashboard.
