Mathematics Fluency Generator

The Math Fluency Generator creates printable math worksheets for your class. Each worksheet is filled with math problems that students solve - great for building speed and confidence with basic operations.

How do I create a fluency worksheet?

Use the left-hand panel to set up your worksheet. Choose your number range, select which operations to include, adjust your settings, then the preview will appear on the right side of the screen.

How do I choose what goes on the worksheet?

Set a minimum and maximum value using the Min and Max fields (e.g. 1–20). Then tick the operations you'd like to include under Basic operations: Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and/or Division. You can select as many as you like.

How do I change the look and layout of my worksheet?

Under the Scaffold section in the left panel, you'll find these settings:

  • Font - choose a display font from the dropdown.
  • Page title - set the title that appears at the top of the worksheet (default is Fluency).
  • With student name field - turn this on to include a Name field at the top of the page.
  • With date field - turn this on to include a Date field at the top of the page.
  • Unique worksheets - set how many different versions of the worksheet to generate. Handy if you want each student to get a slightly different set of questions.
  • Questions per section - set how many questions appear on each worksheet (default is 16). The maximum depends on how many operations you've selected - reduce the number of operation types to allow more questions per section.
  • One section per operation type - turn this on to group questions by operation (e.g. all addition together, then all subtraction) rather than mixing them.

How do I download my worksheet?

When you're happy with your worksheet, tap Download PDF at the top of the left panel to save your file.
