I Have, Who Has? Generator
The I Have, Who Has Card Generator creates printable cards for a whole-class game. Each card has two parts - "I have" at the top and "who has" at the bottom. One student reads their "who has" prompt, and the student whose "I have" matches responds. The chain continues until it loops back to the start.
How do I create a set of cards?
Use the left-hand panel to set up your cards. First, choose what content you'd like on them, adjust how many cards you want, then generate. A printable preview will appear on the right side of the screen.
How do I choose what goes on the cards?
Under Data source in the left panel, you'll see five options:
- Numbers - generates random numbers. Set a minimum and maximum value (e.g. 1–30), then tap 'New numbers'.

- Math expressions - generates simple math problems. Set a number range, then choose the type of operation: Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, or Division. There are also special operations like Doubles, Bonds of 10, and Bonds of 20. If you'd like to create missing-number problems, turn on Hide a term. Tap "New expressions" to generate.

- Hive words - pulls words from the built-in words database. Tap 'Edit filters' to choose which phonics patterns to include (e.g. CVC, Long Vowels, Digraphs, and more). Once you've made your selection, click 'Get words from selection', then click New words.

- From a Word Bank - lets you pick from pre-made word lists like Schwa words, Rhymes with long vowels, or syllable-count lists. Click 'Word Bank' to browse each list or 'Edit' to manage your word banks.

- Type or paste - lets you type or paste in your own custom list of words or values.
How do I change the number of cards or the font?
Under the Scaffold section in the left panel, you'll find two settings:
- Cards to create - set how many cards you'd like (default is 10).
- Font - choose a display font from the dropdown.
How do I preview and download my cards?
Once you generate your cards, a preview appears on the right showing them in a printable grid (3 per row). The app will tell you how many pages they'll print over (e.g. "This will print 10 cards over 2 pages"). When you're happy with them, tap Download PDF at the top of the left panel to save your file.

Can I get a new set without changing my settings?
Yes — just tap the generate button again ("New numbers," "New expressions," or "New words" depending on what you chose) and you'll get a fresh set using the same settings.
