Handy Helpers

Handy Helpers is a themed random student picker for your class. Choose from a variety of fun themes and let the app pick one or more students at random - great for choosing helpers, answering questions, or assigning tasks.

How do I access Handy Helpers?

You can access Handy Helpers in three ways:

• Through Teach Mode - open Handy Helpers directly from the bottom bar of Teach Mode.

  

• From the Apps library - browse or search for Handy Helpers in the Apps library.

  

  
  
  

• In your slide deck - search for Handy Helpers in the apps panel on the right and tap it to drop it onto your slide. From there, you can move and resize it however you like.

  

How do I use Handy Helpers?

Start by selecting a class from the class dropdown.

Choose which students to include - you can select all or tap the boxes next to individual names. This is handy if you want to leave out absent students or only pick from a smaller group.

Choose a theme from the five available options to change the look of the picker.

When you're ready, tap Pick and the app will randomly select a student from your list.

You can also pick more than one student at a time by tapping the + and − buttons to increase or decrease the number of students picked.

Tips

• You can add Handy Helpers to your favourite apps by tapping the star icon.
