How do I connect an app to my timetable?
Connections to your timetable options (rather than timetable entries on individual days) are known as default connections.
Default connections will always be made available every time you use the timetable option.
Connecting apps to your timetable can be done in two ways.
Connecting through the app
- From the Dashboard left-hand side menu click on Apps.
- Choose the app you want to connect and click 'Connect to timetable' found on the top-left.
- To connect it to a specific timetable entry for that day of the week, click 'Timetable' and select the entry you want to connect it to.
- If you want to set it as a default connection, click 'Option Default' and select the entry you wish to connect it to.
- You should be able to see those connections on your timetable.
Connecting through the planner/timetable
- From the Dashboard left-hand side menu click on Plan.
- To connect it to a specific timetable entry for that day of the week, expand the entry and click the connections icon.
Choose the app you wish to connect.
That connection will only be specific to that entry.
- If you want to set it as a default connection, click 'Add or edit entries', expand the entry, and click 'Connect'. The same process applies when you create a new timetable option.
Choose the app you wish to connect.
The selected app will now be set as the default connection and will appear in all timetable entries for that specific option.
Please note that the same process applies to the Day Planner, and only default connections will be displayed in the Teaching Cycle.
To remove a one-off timetable connection, simply expand the entry in your timetable for the day and click the X icon. For default connections, expand the timetable option (accessible through the Day Plan or by clicking 'Add entries') and then click the X icon to remove the connection.
