Match Syllable Images
Match Syllable Images is a matching activity where students connect words to their matching images based on syllable count. Drag and drop or tap to connect pairs - great for building syllable awareness and vocabulary.
How do I access Match Syllable Images?
You can access Match Syllables in three ways:

Through Teach Mode - open Match Syllable Images directly from the bottom bar of Teach Mode.

From the Apps library - browse or search for Match Syllable Images in the Apps library, or filter by Literacy.

- In your slide deck - you can add the Match Syllable Images app by clicking Apps > Type Class > Match Syllable Images .

How do I use Match Syllables?
Tap Get new words to generate a random set of words and images. Students then drag and drop or tap to connect each word to its matching image.

How do I choose which words appear?
You can filter by syllable count. Select specific syllable counts or use the All toggle to include all available options.

Can students get feedback as they go?
Yes - turn on Show results as you go so students get immediate feedback. Correct pairs will show a green line and incorrect ones will show red. If all words are matched but some are wrong, a prompt will appear letting students know to try again.

How do I hide the settings?
Tap the X close the settings panel and give students a fuller view of the matching activity.
