Emotions Check In

Emotions Check In is an interactive tool that helps students identify and express how they're feeling. Drag emotion icons into the box to check in with your class - great for morning routines, wellbeing moments, and social-emotional learning.

How do I access Emotions Check In?

You can access Emotions Check In in three ways:

• Through Teach Mode - open Emotions Check In directly from the bottom bar of Teach Mode.

  

• From the Apps library - browse or search for Emotions Check In in the Apps library.

  

• In your slide deck - search for Decodable Words by clicking on Apps > Emotions Check-in.

  

How do I use Emotions Check In?

Drag an emotion icon into the box to select it. To remove an emotion, simply drag it back out.

Tap Reset to clear the box and start again.

How can I customise the emotions?

Tap Edit Emotions to open the editing menu. From here you can:

• Tap any text box to rename an emotion.
• Tap any image to change its icon.

When you're done, tap Apply Changes.

Tips

• You can add Emotions Check In to your favourite apps by tapping the star icon.

• You can connect Emotions Check In to subjects in your timetable by tapping the timetable icon. Read more about timetable connections here.
