How do I change or reset my password?
Changing password
- Navigate to your account by clicking the hamburger menu on the top-left then click 'Account'.
- Click 'Update your password' and fill out the necessary details.
- After clicking 'Update password,' you should see a prompt. Please note that you won’t be automatically signed out of your account; however, you'll need to enter your new password the next time you log in.
Resetting your password
- Log in to the Hive and click 'Reset it' or click this link.
- Enter your email address and click 'Send reset email.' A confirmation message should appear.
- Check your inbox, including spam or junk folders, and follow the instructions provided. Please note that the password reset link is only valid for 24 hours.
If you don't receive an email, possible reasons could include:
- A typographical error in the email address you submitted.
- Your school's firewall or email filtering system might be blocking the message.
Some schools have strict email filters or security settings that can prevent password reset emails from being delivered. If you suspect this might be the case, please contact your school's IT department for assistance or reach out to us directly for support.
