Whole Class Rewards

Whole Class Rewards is a visual class points tracker that motivates students to work together towards a shared goal. Choose a reward type, set a target, and award points as a class earns them — points automatically sync whether you access the app or the slide deck.

How do I access Whole Class Rewards?

You can access Whole Class Rewards in three ways:

• Through Teach Mode — open Whole Class Rewards directly from the bottom bar of Teach Mode.

• From the Apps library — browse or search for Whole Class Rewards in the Apps library.

• In your slide deck — search for Whole Class Rewards in the apps panel on the right and tap it to drop it onto your slide. From there, you can move and resize it however you like. The Award point button is visible directly on the slide so you can add points without leaving your deck. Points sync automatically with the app.

How do I use Whole Class Rewards?

Open the settings panel to configure the reward. Select your class from the Class dropdown, then set up the following:

• Rewards type — choose from five reward types, such as Bloom Together (a flower that fills in as points are awarded). Each type has its own visual display.
• Target points — enter the number of points the class needs to reach to earn the reward (minimum 1).
• Prize — type in what the class is working towards (e.g. "play time"). This appears on screen for students to see.
• Current focus — type in the behaviour or goal the class is focusing on (e.g. "listening and answering"). This also appears on screen.
• Palette — choose a colour palette for the reward visual.
• Show numbers — turn on to display the current point count on the reward visual, or turn off to hide it.

Once you're set up, tap Award point to add a point each time the class earns one. Tap Reset to clear the points and start a new round.

Tips

• You can add Whole Class Rewards to your favourite apps via the Teach Mode or through the App library. Click on this icon if you're adding it through the App library.

• You can connect Whole Class Rewards to specific subjects in your timetable (read more about timetable connections here). If you're connecting it through the App library, click this icon.
