How do I add a video to my slides?

Quick Note: double click a video to enter an editable mode you can then click to play/pause/move back and forwards etc.

You can add videos from The Hive's built-in video library to your slides as playable objects that can be positioned anywhere on the canvas.

Adding a video to a slide

  1. Open the Insert tab in the right sidebar (or press Shift+I)

  1. Click Hive Video in the Media section to browse The Hive's video library

  1. Select a video to insert it onto the current slide.

The video will appear on your slide as a playable object with a thumbnail preview and title.


Playing a video

Double click a video to enter make it editable, then click on to play it — videos can be played in both the editor and presentation mode.

Resizing and positioning

Videos can be resized and repositioned just like images — drag the corners to resize, or drag the video to move it anywhere on the slide.
