How do I set up a recurring event?
Recurring events let you create an event once and have it automatically repeat on your calendar — perfect for weekly assemblies, fortnightly meetings, or daily routines.
Creating a recurring event
- Click the + Add event button on any day in your plan view
- Fill in the event details (title, date, times, etc.)
- In the Repeat dropdown, choose a frequency

Frequency options
| Frequency | What it does |
|---|---|
| Does not repeat | A one-off event (default) |
| Daily | Repeats every day |
| Weekly | Repeats every week, with option to choose the day(s) of the week |
| Fortnightly | Repeats every two weeks, with option to choose the day(s) of the week |
| Monthly | Repeats on the same date each month |
| Yearly | Repeats on the same date each year |
Choosing specific days (Weekly & Fortnightly)
When you select Weekly or Fortnightly, a day-of-week picker appears. Tap the days you want the event to occur on:

Selected days appear highlighted. Tap a day again to deselect it.
Setting an end date
By default, a recurring event repeats indefinitely. To stop it on a specific date:
- Choose a frequency from the Repeat dropdown
- The Until (optional) date field appears next to the dropdown
- Pick the last date you want the event to occur
Leave the field empty if you want the event to repeat with no end date.
Recognising recurring events
Recurring events are marked with a circular arrows icon next to their title. Expand the event to see the full recurrence description, such as "Repeats weekly on Mon, Wed, Fri" or "Repeats daily until 2025-12-19".

Editing a recurring event
- Expand the event by clicking on it
- Click Edit event
- Change the frequency, days, end date, or any other detail
- Click Update
Changes apply to the recurring event as a whole — all future occurrences will reflect the update.
Removing recurrence
To turn a recurring event back into a one-off event:
- Open the event and click Edit event
- Change the Repeat dropdown to Does not repeat
- Click Update
