Number Expander

Enter a number and click its digits to expand them, revealing the name of their place value. Adjust decimal display and thousands separator style within settings.

How to Use the Number Expander App

1. From the Dashboard left-hand side menu, click on Apps.

2. Search, filter by Mathematics, or find the app tile in the list. Click on Number Expander to get started.

3. Click the 'Close Menu' button at the bottom left of the screen to enter full screen.

4. Type the number you’d like to expand into the input box.

   

   
   

5. Click Expand All to see the expanded form of the number along with its place values.

6. Click Collapse All to hide the expanded form.

7. Click on an individual number to view its place value.

8. Use the checkboxes on the left to customise how your number expander displays.

9. Click 'Connect to Timetable' to connect the app with your timetable entries.

10. Click the pin icon to add the app to your pinned apps on the dashboard.
