Place Value Mat
Use this interactive number explorer to better understand place values and their relation to each other.
- From the Dashboard left-hand side menu click on Apps.
- Search or find the app tile in the list. Click on Place Value Mat.
- Click the 'Close Menu' button at the bottom left of the screen to enter the full screen.
- Input your desired number by clicking the up or down arrows, or type in the number you want directly.
- You can choose your preferred thousand separator from these three options.
- To display the number places, simply toggle the "Show Places" option on.
- Another way to add digits is by clicking the arrows on either side. Click the left arrow pointing left to add a whole number or the right arrow pointing right to add a decimal number.
- Also, you can delete digits by clicking arrows on either side. Click the left arrow pointing right to delete a whole number or the right arrow pointing left to delete a decimal number.
- You can also adjust the numbers by clicking the arrows located at the top to increase or at the bottom to decrease.
- You can select your preferred palette as well.
- Click 'Connect to Timetable' to connect the app to your timetable entries.
- Click the pin icon to add the app to your pinned apps on the dashboard.
